This is a safe place for all* fiber enthusiasts to hang out and make connections  -  regardless of race, gender, or any other identifying factor.  The mission for this page is to create an online social environment, especially catered to members of the community that are unable to attend fiber festivals.

Navigating the Site

 

How you choose to navigate this site is entirely up to you, but here's a quick run-down of what you can find in this space:

 

Forum:  Use this space to meet other fiber enthusiasts and form meaningful connections.  Many of us are active in the online knitting community via social media, but this space attempts to bring more depth to those communications.  Rather than liking a post or making a quick comment on a story, here you can take the time to sit and chat - imagine you're chatting with your bestie over a cup of coffee in your living room (or, maybe you prefer a coffee shop, or a walk in the park).  However you wish to look at it, this is a space intended for conversation and connection.

Fiber Pen Pal:  Not a big fan of the forum setup? Want connection with more fiber enthusiasts?  Whether you're seeking a more one-on-one communication method (there are plenty of us introverts here who understand!) or just wanting to join in the letter-writing fun, this is a fun way to have a "forced" conversation.
